Lake level is 546.20 and dropping very slowly with very little generation. Not much has changed since the last report.  I lost my web site for a couple of days. Bass and crappie fishing remains the best.  Several fish are in open water on shad of all varieties and it is pretty much pot luck on what you catch and if they are biting. Open water fishermen are reporting going out for a couple of days and catching nothing and then finally finding active fish and catching some. Stripers are scarce as they always are this time of year. As the water starts to warm it will warm faster near the shore in shallow water and shad will move in and there will be a lot of fish near the bank. I will be using a grub but many will be using a stick bait. This could happen later this month if it finally warms up. I am still spooning brush on the main lake in 25-ft. of water near the bottom and catching fish every day.
