The lake level is 567.82 and is up 4-inches in the last 24-hours with one generator running about 1/3rd the time. They are generating at Bull Shoals more than Norfork to keep it at a normal level while holding Norfork flooded out. The White River at Newport is 23.80 feet and just below minor flood stage of 25-feet so do not expect much level drop anytime soon. It still rises when they quit generating so we have not crested yet. The surface water temperature is 66-degrees and we are expecting more rain late tonight and tomorrow. There are about 25-guides out there competing for just a little business. My advice is to go to Bull Shoals until Norfork settles down a bit. The full moon is the15th so you will see more stripers come shallow to feed at dusk if we do not get another big rain and the lake continues to clear. I am not going out with the floating debris when I cannot see.and do not hate them that bad. All of my brush piles are way too deep. I do not like running muddy water and small stuff through my boat motors cooling systems or damaging lower units and props. I cannot afford it to prove a point and will just go out to check things out and move my dock and wait a few days. Stay tuned.
