Norfork Lake fishing and lake conditions by Scuba Steve from Blackburns Resort and Boat rental (click here for comments)

Tom Kelly with some very nice ones. Caught on the Bink's spoon.Image title

The lake level is 558.18 and has dropped 1-1/2 inches in the last 24-hours with both generators running continuously. The surface water temperature is 50-degrees in the afternoon and the lake is clearing. Fishing is getting better and crappie are starting to bite on brush piles. Tom Kelly and Mike Eakle caught some good ones on our new brush. I am still bass fishing and am looking for shad blown up into main lake cuts and shallow. The bass are on the bottom right below them. Good ones too. The white bass are biting in open water but they are small and there are a lot of them. The weather is good. Come on down.  We will not charge you too much here at Blackburns. Compare before you buy. It is nice here and the price is right. Very nice. We are working on improvements every day. Debbie, Casey and Nancy are working very hard.  Scuba Steve not so much.
