Scuba Steve and Bink can catch those BassImage title

Lake level 555.17 and dropping and clearing a bit. Fish are biting better. Give this high pressure a couple of days and they will bite better yet. Tom Kelly got some very nice hybrids and white bass and Bink and I caught some bass. It was a beautiful morning until the wind came up about 11:AM and the fish quit biting. We were using the grub on the bottom and Tom was spooning. At least it was warm. The white bass are so full of eggs they may not wait for March to spawn but they are not clear back in the creeks yet. The bass are still deep also. Some fish are moving to the brush but not too many. We are approaching a big transition period with the lake warming and level stabilizing and hopefully clearing a bit. Look for a good night bite this March. Sorry no shad kill and no good jerk bait fishing this winter. John wanted pictures, I got pictures. Wish you were here.
