The lake level is 561.22 and has risen 3-inches in the last 24-hours with 1.4 inches of rain on Wednesday morning and 0.7 inches in the evening. There was significant rain around us and Bull Shoals came up much more. The thermocline is at 29-feet and the surface water temperature is 83-degrees and the weather looks good for the rest of the week. The visibility is pretty good and you can see about 5-feet down to the thermocline. Several fish are at or around this level including walleye and a few crappie on main lake brush points. The crappie have not moved in at big numbers yet but will. Conditions have been good and fishing has slowed with larger fish moving deeper. I am getting a few good Flatheads but few Blues. It looks to be a good fall so far. Blackburns is the Diving headquarters for Norfork, lake and have 12-diving pontoons for you to rent. Scuba Doo full service dive shop is just 1/2 mile away.
