The lake level is 558.93 and has dropped 1-1/2 inches in the last 24-hours with one generator running continuously. The surface water temperature is 89-degrees and the water is starting to clear again already after the holiday churning. It was very busy out there on both the lake and traffic in town. We are back to normal. The thermocline is at 24-feet with fairly clear water to there and cloudy after that. We missed all of the storms again with the bad weather going both north and south of us. Blackburns had a good group of people in with nothing eventful happening except a lot of fun was had. The weather was great. Catfish, Bass and Bluegill we biting off the dock and the children enjoyed feeding and watching the deer, turtles, ducks and fish and swimming in the big pool. The pool and dock were very popular. The lake overall is in excellent condition and at a good level for swimming, fishing, boating and diving. Compare prices and call Debbie at 870-492-5115 for a reservation. It is nice here and the price is right. One more holiday to go and then peace and quiet.
