The Lake level is 559.36 and is down 1.2 inches in the last 24-hours with one generator running continuously. They opened spillway gates a bit for a short time but closed them again quickly two days ago.  There is no effort to drop the lake. and it does not need to rise anymore The White River at Newport is 12.06 feet and normal with plenty of room to let out more water. The surface water temperature is 89-degrees in Blackburns Creek and the thermocline is at 23-feet with clear water to there and very cloudy below. There are a lot of Kentucky Bass just above, around and just under the thermocline on main lake brush piles. White Bass are starting to show up on main lake points in schools on shad and moving fast. Fishing is slowing up a bit but some nice Catfish are being caught in and around Blackburns Dock. Bluegill fishing is good on top of brush piles in 19-30 feet of water. Many larger Walleye have moved to open water and are suspended. Some Smaller Stripers are in open water on shad in about 40-feet at various depths and are going deeper. I hope we do not have another Striper kill this year as the bigger ones are getting scarce with the abundant guides killing a lot of fish in the 5-8 pound range. I have never seen so many guides on Norfork before but they will thin out. They always do. The lake cannot support this many if they are full time. Shop prices and you can save a lot of money.
