The lake level is 558.23 and has risen 2-inches in the last 24-hours with 8-hours of running one generator. There is no reason for being this high with no effort to drop the lake. We are one big rain from flooding out after being in drought conditions all winter and spring. We are still in good shape but not due to the people who manage the lake level but due to us missing the bad weather. Government, you got to love them otherwise you would run them out of town on a rail. The surface water temperature is 81-degrees and the thermocline is at 23-feet. There is good visibility down to there with a mud line with poor visibility below. A lot of fish are at the thermocline and around it from 23-28-feet.  Others are in open water on shad around 40-feet. Fishing, Diving, Boating, swimming conditions are excellent. There is some small debris on the south facing banks from the rain earlier in the cranfield area but nothing to be concerned about. It is still the best location to be on the lake.
