The lake level is 555.96 and is up 1-inch in the last 24-hours with one hour of running one generator. They want it to rise to the top of the power pool of 556.75 for some reason. They like it one big rain from being too high. Poor management. They are more concerned about having the electric wires high enought to fly a plane under them than flooding out the lake. If they did not flood out the lake they would not have to have things so high. They weaponize their govenment power to infringe high costs on Dock owners, change the rules as they go, and threaten to take away dock leases.  None of them have ever owned a dock. The Corps of Engineers need to be disbanned and put under the Department of Interior.  The White River at Newport is 4.79 feet and very low indicating not much water is being released anywhere. Every lake is creeping up. Bryant Creek at Tecumseh is back to normal but we could get significant rain the lext few days. The surface water temperature is in the mid 80's with 81-degrees just above the thermocline which is at 19-feet. Overall the lake is at a good level and in good condition for boating, fishing and swimming and it is a good time to visit Blackburns Resort and Boat Rental for a family fishing vacation. There are a lot of fish just above the thermocline in front of windblown brushpiles on main lake points including Largemouth Bass, Walleye and Crappie. Catfish are back in the creeks and feeding on Bluegill. It is an excellent time for them now the river is rising slowly and the moon is getting smaller.
