The lake level is 569.70 and has dropped 4-inches in the last 24-hours with both generators running continuously. The White River at Newport is 14.71 feet and dropping. The surface water temperature is 91-degrees and the weather is hot and dry. The thermocline is at 25-feet and the visibility has diminished and diving conditions are not as good as they had been. There are still fish in the 23-26 ft. area but you cannot see them very well. Striper fishermen are still catching fish deep in the oxygen bubble on the spoon early and Bass fishermen are catching some under the black light late. Bluegill are biting off the dock on crickets and that is about it. The lake overall is in good condition for boating, swimming and water sports.
