The lake level is 578.77 and is up 7-inches in the last 24-hours with both generators running continuously. We are 1.23 feet from going over the spillway. Spillway gates will have to be opened soon or the Corps of Engineers will fail dam management 101 which is titled "Do not let the water go over the dam" but they are busy out measuring electrical wires so they are high enough to fly an airplane under them under the guise of safety with the rash of non-existant dock electrocutions on the area lakes. Government, you gotta love em. DOGE has not gone deep enough. Bryant Creek at Tecumseh has crested again but is still 6.70 feet and sending a lot of water into the Norfork River. The White River at Newport is 22.13 feet and rising. It should have been at 25-feet for the last month. Bull Shoals is still rising and very high with a lot of water coming in from Table Rock Lake which is dropping. Beaver Lake is less than 1-ft. from breaching the spillway. The policy of hold and hope may not work again if we get much more rain. You can still launch at Panther Bay and drive down to Blackburns Resort and Boat Rental's big dock and step right on. A free stall for your boat comes with a cabin rental of two days or more and we have the best place with the best prices on both cabins and boat rentals in the Ozarks and are closest to Mountain Home, dining and shopping. Come on down and we will not charge you too much and especially welcome Veterans and Police. The surface water temperature is 81-degrees and rising and the water has good clarity and good for boating, swimming and fishing. If you are in the area and looking for a new place to stay stop by Blackburns and check us out. You will like it here.
