The lake level is 578.26 and has dropped 4-inches in the last 24-hours with both generators running continuously and they increased spillway gates again to another 1-1/2 generators. That is quite a bit. It is down about 15-inches from it's high last week. Some debris is sticking to the banks again. The White River at Newport is 22.94 feet and dropping and well in it's banks. Bull Shoals is still rising and very high. Table Rock is dropping again with heavy generation in order to protect Branson Landing with the upcoming rain. The surface water temperature is 78-degrees and the water is trying to clear. Fishing is just fair with the dropping water but Scuba Steve caught a nice 22-inch Walleye last evening. There is a lot of cover and bait fish out there and the fish are scattered but some nice ones are being caught everyday. Blackburns Resort and Boat Rental continues to have the best place with the best prices on both cabins and boat rentals in the Ozarks. Come on down and check us out.
