The lake level is 562.64 and has risen 7-ft. in the last 24-hours with no generation. The White River at Newport is 20.65 feet and rising. Bryant Creek, which feeds the Norfork River at Tecumseh, Missouri, is 11.03 feet and rising. Flood stage there is 16-feet. It is still raining. We have received 5-1/2 inches of rain in the last three days here at Blackburns Resort and Boat Rental and 7-inches for the month of April. The surface water temperature is 55-degrees on the main lake and impossible to get an accurate reading in the creeks. It is not going to raise with the cold front coming through tomorrow with a chance of frost. Everything is OK here at Blackburns but we have a lot of drying out to do and roads to repair. Scuba Steve just got back in from moving the dock and there will be no time for fishing until the rain stops and the roads are fixed. He had some good help. The lake will rise more but I do not make predictions. There are too many variables. I will leave that to the ones that want to scare people and will just report facts. The resort is safe, the dock is moved and everyone here is safe. We had no severe weather. Cannot ask for much more than that. Other people are a lot worse off.
