Got a couple of good ones Scuba Diving.
The lake level is 558.23 and continues to drop a little less than 2-inches in a 24 hour period. The conditions were sunny and hot when I went diving yesterday. The surface temperature was in the late 70's and the visibility was pretty good at about 8-9 feet. I went down to 35 feet and found no definite thermocline and only slight temperature variation. The fish that I found were deeper than earlier in the week with many big bass at 20-25 feet and several good walleye and a few crappie with them. Out on the main lake points where they start to drop off are a good place to start. It is to cool later this week with highs near 70 and lows in the 50's. I will be sorry for summer to be over. The lake in general is in excellent condition for fishing and boating.
