Caught this morning. Nice fish.Image title

The lake level is dropping about three inches a day with one generator running continuously and is at 555.66 and we are susposed to get rain this weekend. They also opened up a flood gate to increase release to the equivilent of two generators to drop the lake to 553 for maintenance on the other gate. This water is wasted and does not produce any electricity. I would have had it to there already.  I am still finding walleye and some bass on brush at 32 feet and there are more shallower but you cannot see them because they are in the mud line. It is very cloudy from 25-30 feet. My brush piles are no longer too deep and are coming into play. Suspended fish are in about 60-feet of water 35-feet down. Drop that spoon right on their heads. I am not seeing a lot of fish but the ones I am seeing are big. Smaller fish are in the shallow warm  water at 18-24 feet. The lake is in perfect condition for now and Blackburns Resort and Boat Rental has one cabin available. Call 1-800-635-0526 We have plenty of boats to rent and at the best price.
