Norfork Lake Fishing Report By Scuba Steve From Blackburns Resort and Boat Rental On Norfork Lake Arkansas Near Mountain Home In the Ozark Mountains (Click Here for Comments)

Bink with a couple of very nice Hybrid Stripers caught yesterday.Image title

We received 3.3 inches of rain last evening and night and the creeks run hard for a while muddying up the backs of the creeks. We were dry so a lot of it sunk in. We had no severe weather but it did rain hard. We are about normal for annual rainfall. The surface temperature is still 69 degrees and the best bite is top water in the early AM just before sunrise. White bass are very easily caught. Bluegill fishing is good on brush with some big ones being brought in. Bink is fishing with two of our guests now and we will see how they do. If they are biting at all Bink will catch them. I am catching some good walleye on spoons in Blackburn's brush piles. Catfish are slowing on trotlines. We have one cabin open for Memorial day weekend. Call 1-800-635-0526
