Norfork Lake Condition and Fishing Report by Scuba Steve from Blackburns Resort and Boat Rental (click here for comment)

Caught yesterday fishing with Bink's Guide Service. Image titleImage title

The lake level is 564.19 and is dropping about 1/2 inch per day with little generation. The lake is very busy and very rough with all of the boat traffic and is stirred up. The surface temperature is 84 degrees and the water is stained with little visibility. It will clear up again after this holiday is over and very much cooler weather is on the way. The fishing people are catching some pretty good fish despite all of this. Crappie, bass and walleye are still the best bite now. You can get a cabin for $59/day starting tomorrow with a free normal sized boat stall here at Blackburns Resort and Boat Rental. Come on down.  We will not charge you too much.
