Norfork Lake fishing and lake conditions by Scuba Steve from Blackburns Resort and Boat rental (click here for comments)

The lake level is still stable with very little generation. It has been for several days. I went out fishing yesterday at 3:pm. I was going diving but the water looked green and did not look like the visibility had improved at least from the surface. You cannot tell very often by that though. It might look clear from the surface but when you get down there it can be very cloudy. It is not often better than it looks though. It was beautiful out and it was just nice to be in the warm sunshine and on the lake. The wind was from the east and the fish were not biting very well. I went walleye fishing and should have stuck with the crappie. I caught one short walleye, three bass, one catfish and three bluegill in 2-1/2 hours. Not very good. Will try again today while others are watching the kneelers. There was quite a bit of boat traffic yesterday. It is to stay warm for several more days.
