There's no need to pack and haul your groceries from your home. We're located 5 minutes from a Super Walmart with a large grocery store that's open 24-7. Several other grocery stores are 10 to 15 minutes away as well. When you arrive go shopping then store it all in your cabin. Serve breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks whenever you want.

We Cook For Guests One Night A Week
During the summer Blackburns puts on a pot luck fish fry dinner on Wednesday evenings. Guests gather around the pool and pavilion where we serve buffet style. Children often develop long-term friendships at these dinners so it very definitely fun for them too.

Many of our guests cook breakfast inside before the weather gets hot for the day. Whatever you enjoy for breakfast you can make it in your cabin. While preparing breakfast guest also prepare picnic lunches for their day on the lake. Potato and jello salads are popular. In the evenings most grill outside on the front porch, the kitchen being a few steps inside.
