Scuba Steve From Blackburns Resort and Boat Rental On Norfork Lake Arkansas Near Mountain Home in the Ozark Mountains Blog. (Click Here For Comments)

Caught some very nice fish last evening. Wind was low and water was nearly still. Surface temperature was 50.5 degrees and the level is still dropping at 551.57 with several hours of one generator running everyday. Temperature was in the early 50's with more of the same today.  Caught some smaller keeper bass and one large one 4-5 pounds and several crappie. That makes over 100 crappie caught this winter over 15 inches and a few near 17. Norfork lake grows big ones and I like to catch them and winter bass. The days start to get longer tomorrow and we are headed in the right direction. I am just happy to be able to get out. I am going out with Bink later this week. He is one of the best winter bass fishermen I have ever seen.
