Scuba Steve From Blackburns Resort and Boat Rental On Norfork Lake Arkansas Near Mountain Home in the Ozark Mountains Blog. (Click Here For Comments)

I went out this afternoon and stayed until dark. The water temperature is 56 degrees and you can see down about 5-6 feet on the main lake. It was sunny and calm with flat water. I spooned up two crappie and two bass. That was all. Very slow for me. Low pressure is moving in and it is to get near 50 for a couple of days. Maybe they will start better. It was nice having the sun shining on me even if it was cool. We are installing a new security system on the dock as we speak. We have not had any thieving problems but do not want any. Meth heads stay up all night. This one is infra red with four cameras that run continuously and has enough memory for one year of continuous use and is in color. It will be rough to pull much stuff here at Blackburns Resort and Boat Rental. The gutters on the dock are working well and when it rains water does not fall off the roof into your boats. We are trying to improve everything we can without raising prices. Everything has new roofs, the pool is new as is all of the bedding in the cabins, TV's and much new furniture. We like it here and want you to feel the same way. The cooler water termperature has not improved fishing for me as predicted by many experts. The same people that are complaining about it being cold are the same ones that were complaining about it being too hot just a few weeks ago. just adapt and count your blessings. If it was easy everyone could do it and they can't. That is why they have trout fishing.
