Cabin #11 The last one.Image title

Went diving yesterday and found this: The lake level is 552.6 and dropping slowly. The water is green and visibility is bad from near the surface to 50-foot. That is as deep as I went. The surface termperature is 73 and a bit high for the last of October. Crappie, walleye and kentucky bass have moved shallower and are now near the brush but towards the bank in 18-23 feet of water. This was in the evening. Saw lots of crappie and big ones too. Shad have moved in to the mouth of Blackburns Creek and some were near the surface. Some were also east of Cranfield Island with white bass on them.  It does not look good for a spectacular fall foliage but we will see. Saw eagles and a roadrunner. Good to be out. Beautiful day. We are redoing our whole swimming pool and it is a big project and I hope it is worth it.  Every building on the property now has a new roof and the price is still $53/day for two people. 1-800-635-0526 If you are not staying at Blackburns Resort and Boat Rental you are paying too much.
