We received about three inches of rain quickly yesterday afternoon and the creeks run heavily for a while. The wind blew down at the dock but everything is alright. People got in a pretty good day of boating before and after the rain. It is very cloudy so far today. The lake level is 554.85 and they are trying to drop it to 553 which is a good level. The creeks muddied up with the runoff and I will see what it did to the visibility on Monday. The rain was spotty but we sure got it here. Everything is very green for early July and the lake is in excellent condition. It is to get hot again later this week. The garden is really growing and the chickens are laying. Who could ask for more? A young man caught the big bass under the dock and was really happy. Bink is on the stripers and walleye and the lake will return to normal Monday afternoon. Blackburns has a couple of openings starting tomorrow so come on down. 1-800-635-0526 we will not charge you too much. The covered porches are coming in handy now. I am glad all of our cabins have them and are so are the customers. The big pool is very busy.
