Water temperature is in the mid 80's, the weather is warm and sunny, the lake is in excellent condition, the fish are biting, the pool is big and Blackburns Resort and Boat Rental is ready for your visit. We have the best prices on both cabins and boat rentals and do not charge for most boat stalls or trolling motors on fishing pontoons. We have no duplexes and all cabins have covered porches. We are child and pet friendly. I usually go diving early in the mornings on Friday, Saturday and Sunday and get back in time for work. The walleye are on mainlake points in 27-ft. of water and can be caught on the 1/2 ounce Bink's Spoon. Arkansas Shiner color. White bass are with them but a little shallower suspended a few feet. If you can find brush at that depth it is all the better. If you cannot look for big chunk rock just before the point drops off. I told Bink I was tired of seeing pictures of big stripers and that anybody can catch them but real fishermen catch walleye. He showed me and fast. I know where some crappie are located but not very many places. They are not everywhere as usual for some reason. We do have lots of big bluegill. Bass fishing after dark is good with a blacklight. This is a good time of year but got too hot too soon. I wish they would let some water out just in case of a big rain.
