The lake is still rising and is at 556.27 with a few hours of running one generator in the afternoon and evening. The lake is not clear and has some debris floating. There is a thermocline forming at about 19-20 feet but visibility is bad and the surface temperature is just under 80. They need to let some water out while they have the chance. Fishing has not been affected and is still pretty good. Open water fish are still coming up but not very long and when they go down they are going deeper. Some white bass are hanging around main lake points at 19-25 feet. If you can find brush at that depth there will be fish on it. Mainly Kentucky bass, walleye and bluegill. Crappie are on shallower brush about 5-ft. down in the Pigeon creek area. I am going mostly for walleye with a spoon but am also catching bass on brush and chunk rock. People going out with Bink and Harvey are catching some very good fish and having good times. It is good to have Harvey back at it again. He knows where the crappie are and Bink knows where everything else is. The lake is at a good level but does not need to get any higher.
