It is another beautiful day here in the Ozarks. Boats are buzzing in and out of Blackburns Creek about every 10 minutes. It will be over at 3:pm. When they come back Sunday there will be only a dozen boats. It was very foggy early this morning and boats were flying around on GPS. Remember for your safety the GPS will keep you from hitting fixed objects on the lake shore and keep you from running aground it will not keep another boat from running into you. If you cannot see well,  stay in visual contact of the bank and go slow and listen otherwise just wait until the fog rises. We have drownings on Norfork every year. There are a lot of fish on the beds and this is the worst time of year to have tournaments but it is all about the money. It takes about 2-1/2 to 5 days for bass eggs to hatch and about 10 more days before they are able to swim and feed on their own, and three weeks from the time the male makes the bed until the fish swim away. If you catch the male off the nest predators eat the eggs or little fish immediately.  It is to be in the 80's with lows in the 60's this weekend and is a perfect time to visit and be outside. It is nice here at Blackburns and the Price is right.
