It is partly cloudy and warm today with rain heading our way. It is getting dry again. It is to be in the 80's this weekend. The lake level is 552.89 and dropping very slowly with intermittant generation. The surface temperature was 63 last evening. The lake is clearing in both the main lake and creeks but is still a good color.  Some bass are pre-spawn feeding, some staging and some are on the bank. Several are being brought in everyday. John Schreeves is catching some big crappie back in the creeks but not too many. Dave, Lance and Blade Street caught a big stringer of mixed bass with the largest being a smallmouth. Bass are best in the morning and stripers in the late afternoon and evening. The moon is big and the morning top water bite for stripers will be very soon. This is a good time to visit Norfork Lake. 1-800-635-0526
