It was near 80 yesterday and beautiful. The lake level is at 554 with one generator running for three days. It is starting to get dry again. The surface temperature has finally broke 60. The lake is clearing with good water color. The best bite is still stripers after dark and bass early morning. Top water is increasing so get out there on the right bank before sunrise. Some bluegill are showing up on brush and under docks and a few crappie. The crappie might go directly to the bank to spawn back in the creeks in most areas but some are in the back of Pigeon near the bridge now. There are not many on my brush and probably will not be until after the spawn which will be soon. Many big fish have been brought in the last two days. Everything is good here and we will not charge you too much at blackburns.
