The lake level is 559.86 and has dropped about 2-1/2 inches in the last 24-hours. They quit generating last evening but started again this morning. It is hot and dry and good to be able to get on the lake and swim or get in the big pool with slide. Better than cold. Water temperature is hanging in there at 86 degrees and is perfect. Stripers are suspended in 50-60 feet by Cranfield Island and people are catching some good ones everyday early. The morning bite is better than the evening one. You can get a cabin here at Blackburns for $75/day and it comes with a free normal sized boat stall. Come on down. Why waste your hard earned money by going elsewhere? We will not charge you too much and have lots of rental boats.
